The employees of a company are its backbone. When we talk about our success, we are proud of the fact that we have been able to retain most of the employees who have been with us since the inception of our firm. Our workforce is multi-generational: some of our employees have worked with us from the very beginning, and some of their family members and adult children have joined them in working for our company over the years. We believe that this continuity is a testament to our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels at home.
Keeping this multigenerational upskilled and relevant is critical. We conduct regular training programmes by both the company’s Heads of Department and by visits from external faculty. Regular visits from our overseas technicians also involve upskilling our technicians to operate and maintain sophisticated machinery and equipment. We send employees for exhibitions and workshops to provide necessary exposure and expand their horizons.
We have also taken some practical steps toward creating a friendly, positive atmosphere in our working environment. We converted a land bank available to us into a green patch where we grow vegetables, which are distributed amongst our employees. We also have set up a new canteen facility for staff and workmen where we provide fresh, wholesome, nutritious meals prepared on-site by our trained kitchen staff.
In the works is a pain relief and physiotherapy centre on campus, to treat any employee suffering from arthritis, joint pain, knee pain, back pain, neck pain, posture correction, paralysis and slip disc. We will provide free of cost treatment for all employees and others in the local community.
Our employees’ welfare is of utmost importance to us. Providing them with a work environment in which they feel safe, secure and happy ensures that our workers are motivated to deliver quality products.
